Nuggets Veteran Has Made A Decision About His Contract

A year ago, when they won the NBA championship, the Denver Nuggets were being tabbed by many as a potential dynasty in the making.

But they took a significant step backward this season when they were up-ended in the second round of the playoffs by the upstart Minnesota Timberwolves.

It instantly condensed a somewhat dark cloud over the Nuggets in terms of their immediate future, and some of the consternation had to do with the fact that starting shooting guard Kentavious Caldwell-Pope would be able to opt out of his contract this summer.
