“Ohio State Star Shocks Fans: Unexpected Transfer Looms After Stellar Spring Game Performance”
Ohio State long snapper Morrow Evans is in the NCAA transfer portal on Monday morning.
Evans, a 6-foot-1 long-snapper, is originally from Texas. He has an impressive resume before joining Ohio State:
- Played at Episcopal High School in Bellaire, Texas
- An Adidas All-American and the No. 2-ranked long snapper in the Class of 2024
- Was the 4A/3A Special Teams Player of the Year as a senior by Texas Private School Media
- Was a finalist for the Chris Rubio Award as the nation’s top high school long snapper
- Played in the All-American Bowl on Jan. 6, 2024
- Earned the speed champion award during the Rubio Long Snapping Camp in Texas in 2022
Ohio State is projected to open the 2025 season ranked No. 1 or No. 2 in the country. The NCAA Transfer Portal is open now, though, so teams across the country could see more and more players moving on.
