Ohio State vs. Ohio: Land-Grant Experts Reveal Surprising Predictions That Could Shake the Rivalry!
Football season’s back, and boy, does it feel good to swap the endless highlight reels for the real deal on the gridiron. After what seemed like an eternity buried beneath months of championship confetti and rerun celebrations, it’s game day at Ohio Stadium! At high noon ET, the No. 3 Ohio State Buckeyes are set to tussle with the No. 1 Texas Longhorns, promising a showdown that could easily keep us all on the edge of our seats. Our crew at Land-Grant Holy Land — you know, the underdog voice in the Buckeye beat — is throwing down their predictions with the confidence of a seasoned scout, calling out final scores, naming MVPs, and snagging the biggest storylines before the dust even settles. Most of the squad’s leaning hard on the Buckeyes to claim this one at home — and honestly, can you blame ’em? Dive into the forecasts, stir the pot with your own takes, and keep the conversation rolling all season long.

Being the Buckeye beat’s black sheep blog, we here at Land-Grant Holy Land like to pat ourselves on the back. So, throughout the season, members of our staff will be making predictions about that day’s game. They will go on the record with what they think the final score will be, who the game’s MVP will be, and what the major storyline will be coming out of the day.
After seven months of wall-to-wall championship celebrations, we are finally back to actual, real-life football. Today, at 12 noon ET, the No. 3 Ohio State Buckeyes will face off with the No. 1 Texas Longhorns at Ohio Stadium. The game is expected to be a close one, but (unsurprisingly) our team is almost uniformly going with the home team.
