
Ohio State’s 2025 Season: Can ESPN’s Bold Win-Loss Prediction Become Reality?
Now with the 2025 season right around the corner, ESPN‘s Football Power Index has predicted the Buckeyes’ record for next season. And it sounds like it could be more of the same for OSU this fall.
Per the FPI, Ohio State projects to go 10-2 in the ’25 campaign with a 40.3% chance of winning the Big Ten, a 70.6% chance of making the College Football Playoff and a league-best 10.8% chance of winning a second consecutive national championship.
Ohio State, Penn State and Oregon are predicted to sit atop the B1G with all three programs expected to be in the 10-win range. As for the rest of the conference, this is how the network sees things shaking out:
