Despite losing some big time playmakers to the NFL, few schools reload as well as Ohio State when it comes to replenishing talent. And they already have arguably two of the best players in college football in safety Caleb Downs and wide receiver Jeremiah Smith.
With some tough games on the schedule though, the FPI can only conceive giving OSU slight odds to go undefeated. But as Texas’ Steve Sarkisian has noted, going unbeaten in modern CFB is just no longer all that realistic.
