Ole Miss Breaks Silence: Shocking Details Emerge in Football Program Tragedy
Ole Miss football has released a statement on Sunday morning regarding a death in the program.
A fatal shooting outside of Memphis, Tennessee took the life of an Ole Miss football player. The shooting took place outside a residence on Fern Glade Cove in Cordova, a suburb of Memphis. Corey Adams, a freshman defensive lineman at Ole Miss, was killed in the shooting.
Four other people were injured.
“When deputies arrived at the intersection of Forest Hill-Irene and Walnut Grove, they stopped a vehicle, finding an adult male gunshot victim. They provided life-saving measures until Shelby County Fire arrived,” police announced.
