Oregon’s Shocking Rise: Could They Be the Big Ten’s Dark Horse in the 2026 CFP?
Those odds to make the playoff are the second-best in the Big Ten, falling just behind the national championship-winning Indiana Hoosiers (-330). The Hoosiers are on top despite losing Heisman Trophy-winning quarterback Fernando Mendoza and a loaded group of running backs and wide receivers. They reloaded by adding TCU transfer passer Josh Hoover and Michigan State wide receiver Nick Marsh and will expect talented underclassmen to step into bigger roles. Oh, and they have head coach Curt Cignetti leading the way, who doesn’t seem to lose much at all.
