Oregon’s Star WR Evan Stewart Faces Uncertain Future After Devastating Knee Injury

It’s a tough pill to swallow when a star player’s season hangs in the balance — and that’s exactly where Oregon’s Evan Stewart finds himself after a brutal knee injury struck early this week. This isn’t just any setback; sources like ESPN are hinting it could sideline him for the entire 2025 campaign. For a guy who was gearing up to lead the Ducks’ receiving corps, this news hits hard. Word is, according to On3, Stewart suffered a torn patellar tendon — a serious blow by any measure. Having racked up 48 catches last year for over 600 yards along with five touchdowns, his absence could leave a gaping hole on the roster. And when you consider the Ducks are already facing the loss of top wideout Tez Johnson and tight end Terrance Ferguson, plus a fresh face at QB, this offseason just got a lot more complicated. The Ducks dazzled with an undefeated regular season and a Big Ten title last year, but now they must recalibrate. Man, the grit and depth they’ll need to muster this time around will be something to watch. LEARN MORE
