Last year, Nembhard was solid with his 10.0 points, 3.3 rebounds, and 5.0 assists per game, shooting 45.8 percent from the field.
His playoff performances have obviously been his most critical moments, and he joins great company for his postseason work.
The Pacers will need help with their shooting in the new year because they lost Haliburton, one of the best performers in the league.
If they want their offense to stay consistent and challenging, they will need Nembhard and others to step up and shoot well from all over the court.
Nembhard won’t be the only one called upon more often, as multiple Pacers players will be earning more minutes and more responsibilities.
But he has perhaps the best chance to have a huge breakout season.
