Rick Carlisle Names One Knicks Player as the Surprising ‘Major Factor’ Turning the Team’s Fortune

The Indiana Pacers are about to battle against the New York Knicks in the Eastern Conference Finals, and it might be one of the most heated and intense fights the league has seen in years.

Several players are going to make life very hard for their opponents, including Mitchell Robinson of the Knicks.

According to New York Basketball, Pacers head coach Rick Carlisle knows just how dangerous Robinson will be, and he is helping his team prepare for him.

“[Mitchell Robinson’s] productivity as a rebounder is really quite remarkable,” Carlisle said. “I think he’s getting four offensive rebounds a game, and he’s tipping the ball out another three or four times, so, in some games, he’s generating seven or eight extra possessions for them. He’s a major factor.”
