Rob Gronkowski’s Surprising Top-4 NFL Tight Ends Revealed—You Won’t Believe Who Made the Cut!

So, Rob Gronkowski steps onto the stage at Fanatics Fest NYC 2025, and suddenly the tight end world feels the tremor — did you catch that? When a guy who redefined the position throws down his top four, it’s like dropping a gauntlet. Gronk’s picks — George Kittle, Dallas Goedert, Mark Andrews, and Dalton Kincaid — might just cause as many raised eyebrows as heated debates. Now here’s the kicker: no Travis Kelce, no Brock Bowers. You have to wonder, what’s Gronk seeing through that veteran lens? Is Kittle truly the uncontested king, “by far” as Gronk puts it, or is this just another spicy chapter in the eternal NFL hot-take saga? Buckle up — this one’s going to get interesting.

NFL fans and former players seem to be full of hot takes.

From people trying to figure out the best player of all time to conversations surrounding top players at each position, there’s plenty of dialogue surrounding this league.

While many believe Tom Brady is the best quarterback in league history, and potentially the most dominant QB of all time, there’s certainly room for debate about the best players at other positions.

Rob Gronkowski, for instance, was recently asked about the best tight ends in the league at the moment, and his answer sparked a bit of controversy.

As ML Football pointed out, Gronkowski named George Kittle, Dallas Goedert, Mark Andrews, and Dalton Kincaid as the best at the position heading into 2025.

Two notable omissions are Travis Kelce and Brock Bowers, both for different reasons.

Kelce has been the most dominant TE in the league over the past decade, but his play in 2024 left something to be desired, and Gronkowski might be taking that into consideration.

Bowers was a force to be reckoned with in 2024, a rookie that took the league by storm, and he could very well be the next superstar at the position.

Regardless, Gronkowski came up with his own list that is subject to scrutiny, and it will be interesting to hear more discourse about this topic moving forward.

The fact that he mentioned Kittle as the best tight end in the league “by far” could ruffle some feathers, especially for supporters of Kelce and Bowers, who believe these two should be on the list.
