“Ryan Clark’s Bold Warning: What Every NFL Team Must Know Before Drafting Travis Hunter!”
— NFL on ESPN (@ESPNNFL) April 15, 2025
Clark also made the point that Hunter isn’t Julio Jones, Randy Moss, Larry Fitzgerald or Marvin Harrison, four of the best wide receivers of the past 20 years, nor is he someone who could develop into one of the better cornerbacks the game has seen.
In other words, as Clark pointed out, Hunter cannot be an alpha at one position or the other, but if he plays both WR and CB, his value would be excellent.
Hunter is widely expected to be one of the first three players chosen, but if Shedeur Sanders is taken with either the No. 2 or No. 3 overall pick, there is a chance Hunter could slide a bit.
