Seahawks Drop Shocking Injury Update Ahead of Super Bowl Showdown—Star Player’s Status in Question!
Alright, folks, here’s the skinny on the Seattle Seahawks as they head into the biggest showdown of the season—the Super Bowl. The latest Wednesday practice updates came out, and honestly, there’s more good news hidden under that pretty hefty injury list than you might expect. Fourteen players got tagged on the injury report, but none of ‘em were sidelined completely—meaning everyone’s still in the game, at least to some degree. Now, Robbie Ouzts remains on our radar; he sat out the NFC Championship with a neck injury and has been somewhat limited in recent sessions. We were hoping to catch him chatting alongside his fellow fullback Brady Russell during media availability, but Ouzts was MIA. As for Sam Darnold, he’s dancing carefully around an oblique tweak but hasn’t missed a snap, and that’s the headline we want before Sunday. A few big names like Jaxon Smith-Njigba, Leonard Williams, and DeMarcus Lawrence took it easy and did some light drills, trying to stay fresh. Oh, and with Amari Kight hitting injured reserve, it looks promising that Josh Jones should be ready to roll come game day. Safety Nick Emmanwori and left tackle Charles Cross showed some limitations but remained upbeat—Cross even told us he’s “feeling good,” and I trust that guy’s toughness . The Patriots’ report? Relatively light too, though linebacker Robert Spillane was a non-participant. The Seahawks are gearing up to hit the field again Thursday, with those crucial game day designations coming Friday. Stick around for the full breakdown—you won’t want to miss a beat!
The Seattle Seahawks’ Wednesday practice report is out for Super Bowl week, and it’s more encouraging than the lengthy list suggests.
None of the 14 players the Seahawks put on their initial injury report was a non-participant. Fullback Robbie Ouzts is still worth monitoring closely given he missed the NFC Championship Game with a neck injury, and has otherwise been limited over te past several practices. Field Gulls attended media availability, for which Ouzts was slated to be a participant at a table alongside fellow fullback Brady Russell, but we only saw Russell the entire time.

Sam Darnold remains limited in the loosest sense as he manages an oblique injury that otherwise has not caused him to miss any game time, and certainly not the Super Bowl. Jaxon Smith-Njigba, Leonard Williams, and DeMarcus Lawrence got to rest a bit and do some light work.
Amari Kight being placed on injured reserve should bode well for the likelihood that Josh Jones will have no issues being available for Super Bowl Sunday. Jones was active for the NFC Championship Game after missing the San Francisco 49ers game due to multiple injuries.
Safety Nick Emmanwori was limited with an ankle issue, although the severity is unknown. Starting left tackle Charles Cross was also limited but otherwise there’s no reason to worry, for he told Field Gulls, “I’m feeling good.”
Here’s the full report for both the Seahawks and New England Patriots, whose injury report was light but did have linebacker Robert Spillane as a non-participant.
The Seahawks are back at practice on Thursday, with game designations set for Friday.
