Assuming that Sanders did say it, the Giants do make the most sense based on everything we’ve seen over the past few months.
It has long been speculated that Sanders isn’t interested in playing for either the smaller-market Tennessee Titans or the struggling Cleveland Browns. Sanders has also shown the Giants plenty of love in the past, hanging out with Giants star wideout Malik Nabers in New York and even wearing a pair of Giants-themed cleats during a college football game last season.
