Tributes are pouring in after a college football running back died suddenly at 20 years old this week.

Nate White, a college football running back who started his career at Wisconsin and was playing for South Dakota State, passed away this week. He was just 20 years old. 

South Dakota State officially announced his passing.

“Jackrabbit football is a brotherhood and today we are all hurting with the shocking news of the loss of Nate White,” SDSU head coach Dan Jackson said. “Nate impacted our program with his hard work, determination and overall positive spirit. We grieve with his family and will honor his memory throughout the upcoming season.”
