Pittsburgh made a huge splash earlier this offseason by trading for another star receiver in D.K. Metcalf, who they then rewarded with a new contract for $33 million per year, which is in the ballpark of what McLaurin is seeking.
Pittsburgh has a short window of contention to work with now that four-time MVP Aaron Rodgers is under center, as he has alluded to the fact that this is likely his last season in the NFL.
