Shocking Return: Bills Re-sign All-Pro Defender in Unexpected Move

As a die-hard Buffalo Bills fan, have you ever found yourself reminiscing about the golden days in Orchard Park when the defense was as impenetrable as Grandma’s steel griddle? Well, buckle up, because the Bills are about to add some seasoned spice to their secondary, in a move they didn’t see as coming (that’s what they said about that snowstorm last January, remember?). Yes, it’s true – Tre’Davious White, the cornerback with more bounces back than a rubber ball in a kindergarten, is making his grand return to Buffalo ahead of the 2025 NFL Draft…

The Buffalo Bills have brought back a familiar face to strengthen their secondary ahead of the 2025 NFL Draft.

According to NFL Network insider Tom Pelissero, cornerback Tre’Davious White has agreed to return, reuniting the Bills with their first-round pick from the 2017 NFL Draft who spent seven seasons with the organization before departing.

“Tre White agrees to terms with his former team, the Buffalo Bills, on a one-year deal with a max value up to $6.8 million,” Pelissero wrote on X.

White returns following a turbulent 2024 season split between two teams.

The former All-Pro signed with the Los Angeles Rams last offseason and was expected to be their top cornerback.

However, his tenure in Los Angeles turned sour quickly, as he found himself benched. After sitting out, White was traded to the Baltimore Ravens.

The timing of White’s return to Buffalo could prove beneficial for a defense that struggled against the pass last season.

Buffalo ranked among the league’s bottom third in pass defense, surrendering an average of 226.1 yards per game.

In a 93-game NFL career with the Bills, Rams and Ravens, White has 333 combined tackles, 73 passes defended and 18 interceptions.

His return adds valuable experience and depth to a Bills secondary looking to improve in 2025.

His familiarity with the organization and past success in their system make this reunion a logical fit for both parties.
