Shocking Revelations Uncovered in Dominiq Ponder’s Fatal Crash Investigation
New details are emerging about the fatal car accident that killed Colorado quarterback Dominiq Ponder. ESPN has reported that Ponder had a high blood alcohol level that was twice the legal limit for driving under the influence when the crash occured. The information was released by Boulder County Coroner’s Office saying that his blood alcohol level was .167, which is significantly above the limit of 0.08.
Dominiq Ponder first made a name for himself in southwest Florida at Naples High School, where he developed into a dynamic dual-threat quarterback. As a sophomore, he threw for 511 yards and 10 touchdowns while also rushing for 356 yards and three scores. His production caught the attention of several programs, including Ed Reed during Reed’s brief stint leading Bethune-Cookman Wildcats football.
