However, one top college football recruit has announced his de-commitment after just 17 days.
Richard Wesley, a five-star defensive lineman out of Sierra Canyon High School in California, is considered a top 20 prospect in the 2026 class. He’s ranked a top five player at his position and he had scholarship offers from basically every major program in the country.
A little more than two weeks ago, Wesley announced his commitment. The five-star prospect committed to Dan Lanning and the Oregon Ducks.
