
“Star Quarterback’s Promising Season Shattered by Shocking Car Theft Scandal!”
According to reports, Tulane quarterback TJ Finley was arrested on charges related to the alleged theft of a car. Finley, who is at his fifth school in six college seasons, was booked for illegally possessing a stolen item worth more than $25,000. The Ponchatoula, Louisiana native told authorities he had just purchased the vehicle from Georgia.
Finley has since been released from custody. As of now, he is suspended from all Tulane team activities, the program announced earlier Thursday.
“We are aware of the situation involving TJ Finley,” Tulane said in a statement. “He has been suspended from the football program pending the outcome of the case. Due to federal laws governing student privacy, we will not disclose any additional information regarding the student, including information related to the disciplinary proceedings.”
