Finley is entering his first season with the Green Wave after suiting up for Western Kentucky in 2024. A former three-star recruit, Finley played at Texas State in 2023 and Auburn in 2021-22.
The 6-foot-7, 238-pound signal caller began his college career at LSU in 2020. In 35 career games (27 starts) for four different programs, Finley has completed 62.9% of his passes for 6,128 yards, 37 touchdowns, and 20 interceptions.
His best season came with Texas State two years ago, when he started all 13 games for the Bobcats and passed for 3,439 yards, 24 touchdowns and eight interceptions.
