The New England Patriots will have an excellent opportunity to add talent in the upcoming 2025 NFL Draft as they own the No. 4 overall pick.

The Patriots could use another star receiver to give Drake Maye a more reliable option in the passing game, and there are a few options who could be available.

The dream scenario would be for Travis Hunter to fall to No. 4, as the two-way star can contribute both as a defensive back and a wide receiver.

However, Hunter is expected to be gone before New England is on the clock, so it likely will look elsewhere on draft day.

One intriguing name to watch is Tyler Warren, the consensus best tight end prospect in the draft who can immediately help a team as a receiver and a blocker.

In addition, Warren recently had high praise for Maye on the “Patriots Talk” podcast.

“People have said that we might be kinda wired similarly, and be similar in some type of ways, so I think he’s a great quarterback and he’s got a bright future ahead of him,” Warren said, via Carlos A. Lopez.

It’s easy to envision Maye throwing to Warren next season, as the latter provides a big body with great hands and fluid hips to break in and out of routes easily.

Warren carried the Penn State offense last season and figures to be a target magnet in the NFL.

Though drafting a tight end at No. 4 overall would be a reach, Warren is a very talented prospect and someone New England could strongly consider.
