Taulia Tagovailoa’s Shocking Career Move Ignites Fierce Reactions Among Football Fans
Despite being the brother of Tua Tagovailoa, Taulia didn’t enjoy nearly as much success as his older brother in college. He spent one year at Alabama before transferring to Maryland, where he became the school’s all-time leading passer.
Taulia shattered the school records for passing yards, passing touchdowns, total offense and total touchdowns during his four years at the program. He finished his career as the Big Ten’s all-time leader in passing yards to boot.
But a 22-18 record at Maryland didn’t really impress NFL scouts and he went undrafted and unsigned in 2024. He spent the aforementioned year in the Canadian Football League.
