Tensions Ignite: Explosive Face-Off Erupts Between Angels and Red Sox Moments Before Fenway Showdown
The Boston Red Sox and Los Angeles Angels got into a bit of a shouting match on the field before their matchup on Wednesday. While things eventually settled down without much of an issue, and the game started normally, Angels pitcher Tyler Anderson was walked away by a coach.
The incident, according to WEEI’s Rob Bradford, started on Monday night when Anderson thought the Red Sox were stealing signs during that contest. Anderson was seen shouting at Red Sox first base coach Jose Flores, which is what led to Wednesday’s confrontation. Anderson gave up five runs and seven hits in Monday’s 7-6 win.
