Terry McLaurin’s On-Field Rehab Kicks Off This Week—Could a Stunning Comeback Be Near?
It’s been a trying season for the Commanders, especially with Terry McLaurin sidelined due to that stubborn quad injury. While Week 11 won’t see him on the field, there’s promising news as he’s gearing up for on-field rehab down in Madrid this week — a move that might just set the stage for his return in Week 13 following the team’s bye. Coach Dan Quinn’s latest updates don’t stop there; he’s also optimistic about Chris Rodriguez suiting up against the Dolphins despite his recent shoulder setback, and safety Will Harris getting closer to rejoining practice as he kicks off his 21-day return from injured reserve. It’s a flicker of hope amid the injuries that have kept this squad on edge all season.
The Commanders have already ruled wide receiver Terry McLaurin out for Week 11, but he is taking a step back toward the lineup.
Head coach Dan Quinn said that McLaurin will begin doing on-field rehab work in Madrid this week. McLaurin has missed six games with a quad injury already this season, including the last two contests.
The Commanders have a bye week, so McLaurin could be back for their next game in Week 13 if all goes well.
Quinn also said that the team expects running back Chris Rodriguez to play against the Dolphins after injuring his shoulder last week. Safety Will Harris will also return to practice and open his 21-day return window from injured reserve.
