Texas Athletic Director’s Fiery Response to Ohio State Fans Sparks Backlash—What Did He Say?
Texas athletic director Chris Del Conte has since confirmed the reports. The Longhorns did not want the game to be moved from Saturday to Sunday.
Del Conte admitted, firing back at angry Ohio State fans, that there was no benefit for Texas to move the game back a day. This would’ve set up a short week for Texas in Week 2 – and put the game in primetime, inside of a rabid Ohio Stadium.
