In the website’s description, WRAL called questions about Hudson “off the table.” WRAL’s headline also labeled the nearly seven-minute interview “unedited,” a seemingly pointed inclusion after Belichick accused CBS of heavily editing his now-infamous segment.
Belichick also claimed CBS defied an agreement to exclusively focus on football and his book. CBS disputed that allegation, saying they agreed to “a wide-ranging interview” with “no preconditions or limitations.”
Perhaps Belichick and his team were clearer about their expectations to WRAL, which obliged for a chance to speak to the six-time Super Bowl champion.
