Top-Ranked QB Jared Curtis Drops Shocking Commitment—College Football World Stunned!

The 6-foot-4, 225-pound Curtis led Nashville (Tenn.) Christian School to a 12-1 record and a Tennessee Division II-A state championship in 2024. 

He threw for 2,830 yards, 40 touchdowns and only three interceptions while rushing for 637 yards and 18 touchdowns, earning MaxPreps All-American honors.

Curtis is the No. 1 quarterback and No. 2 overall recruit in the 2026 cycle, per 247Sports’ Composite Rankings.

“Must keep progressing as a decision-maker and as a full-field reader, but did a much better job at protecting the football as a junior and showed significant improvements in key statistical categories as he captured a Tennessee Division II-A state championship,” said 247Sports’ Andrew Ivins.
