Tottenham Hotspur are on the verge of signing Randal Kolo Muani on loan from Juventus on the final day of the summer transfer window, according to TBR.
Kolo Muani spent the second half of last season on loan at Juventus from PSG and wanted to return to the Serie A club, but Tottenham chairman Daniel Levy has convinced the French striker to make the switch to the north London club, after Juventus decided to withdraw from talks and focus on Lois Openda.
Journalist Graeme Bailey told TBR: “Kolo Muani learnt over the weekend that his move to Juventus was off, at the point options emerged.
“I am told that the player himself indicated to his people to make the call to Spurs. He maintained a lot of respect for Daniel Levy and the club after they came close to landing him in January.
“Once it became known that Spurs wanted him and he wanted Spurs, it has not taken too long for this deal to progress.”
