
Tragedy Strikes: Former College Football Star Collapses Mysteriously During Half Marathon at 31

The runner, identified as Charles Rogers, went into cardiac arrest on the course at 8:11 a.m. E.T. He went down on Ocean Parkway and 18th Avenue, around mile 8 of the course, according to authorities.
He was rushed to the Maimonides Medical Center, but he couldn’t be saved.
His wife, Sydney Rogers, confirmed the tragic news.
