Tragedy Strikes: Shocking Details Emerge in Fatal Big Ten Mascot Incident
The Big Ten is home to some of the coolest mascots in the country. Purdue, which goes by the Boilermakers, is known for its mascot train. The Purdue Boilermaker Special is the official mascot of Purdue University in West Lafayette, Indiana. It’s modeled after a Victorian-era railroad locomotive.
The train is driven to every away football game and other major sporting events. It can get up to 75 MPH on the road.
Tragically, the Big Ten university mascot was involved in a fatal accident earlier this week.
