Before all that, Strachan led the Stags to a 20-3 record and consecutive conference titles as a sophomore and junior, and entered his senior year in 1993 with early scholarship offers from Maryland and Penn State. Street & Smith’s magazine rated him as one of the top high school quarterbacks in the country in a class that included Peyton Manning.
