A high school basketball and football player has been identified as the victim in a “horrific” three-car crash this week.
A three-car crash took place in Rochester, New York on Tuesday evening. The crash reportedly happened on State Route 590 near Browncroft Boulevard.Â
Tragically, a 17-year-old high school athlete has been identified as the fatal victim.
“Ricardo Carrero Chico, 17, of Rochester, was traveling north on 590 when he lost control of his car, crossing over the median and into the southbound lanes before striking two vehicles, according to the Monroe County Sheriff’s Office. He was pronounced dead at the scene,” the report states.
