Prayers are pouring in after an SEC football player died at 18 years old.
Ole Miss football announced on Sunday afternoon that freshman defensive lineman Corey Adams had died. He was killed in a shooting outside of Memphis, Tennessee. Adams, a three-star recruit, was getting ready for his first big season at Ole Miss.
“When deputies arrived at the intersection of Forest Hill-Irene and Walnut Grove, they stopped a vehicle, finding an adult male gunshot victim. They provided life-saving measures until Shelby County Fire arrived,” police announced.
