
Tragic Mystery: Rising High School Football Star’s Life Cut Short in Shocking Late-Night Shooting
A high school football captain in Chicago, Illinois graduated high school a couple of days ago. He is now dead. The high school football standout was killed in a shooting on the South Side of the city.
DeAngelo Miles, a captain of the Hansberry College Prep football team, was killed in a shooting. His body was identified by the Cook County Medical Examiner’s Office.
The school is now mourning his loss.
“We have to stop losing our young people,” Hansberry College Prep Principal Kashawndra Wilson said. “This amazing young Black boy had unlimited potential that was snatched.”
