Tragic Texas Flood Claims Life of College Coach’s Daughter—A Community’s Heartbreaking Response Unfolds
The school released a statement.
“The university has learned that Kellyanne Lytal, the young daughter of Trinity football offensive coordinator Wade Lytal ’09, has been confirmed as deceased following the catastrophic flooding along the Guadalupe River last week. Our entire community grieves with the Lytal family, to whom we extend our deepest sympathies and unwavering support. We know this loss will be felt across our campus and beyond,” they wrote.
“We will share information about campus opportunities to honor Kellyanne at a later date. We remain grateful to the first responders and emergency personnel who have worked tirelessly with courage and compassion under heartbreaking conditions.”
