This 6-foot-4, 200-pound junior quarterback recently became the first in the University of Louisville’s 2027 recruiting class to officially pledge, stepping up just weeks after an enticing offer from Coach Jeff Brohm and the Cardinals. It’s no small feat, especially when you consider this was Sorgi’s inaugural scholarship offer—earned after impressing at a Louisville camp earlier this year. With a solid sophomore season behind him, boasting nearly 1,730 passing yards and 19 touchdowns, plus a knack for racking up yards on the ground, Sorgi’s trajectory is impossible to ignore. The kid’s got football smarts too; his father, Jim Sorgi—a former Colts quarterback—is right there on the sidelines coaching and guiding him. It’s a compelling story of legacy, potential, and that iced-in resolve that could see this young athlete shine even brighter on the collegiate stage. LEARN MORE
