Trump’s Cryptic 3-Word Message to Nick Saban Sends Alabama Fans into a Frenzy
Before the president of the United States offered words of encouragement to Alabama’s graduating class, Saban shared a story from his 2018 visit to the White House.
Saban and the 2018 roster for the Crimson Tide had a chance to chat with Trump in the Oval Office. It didn’t take long for his players to ask questions about a big red button on Trump’s desk.
“The president is really nice to everybody and he’s got this very big, good-looking auspicious box on his desk that has a red button on top,” Saban said. “One of the players said, ‘Is that what you launch the missiles with?’ He said, ‘Well, push it and find out.’ The player said, ‘No I don’t want to do that.’ He says, ”No, go ahead. Go ahead. Push it, see what happens, find out.'”
