Trump’s Cryptic 3-Word Message to Nick Saban Sends Alabama Fans into a Frenzy
“As a student at Alabama, you will always remember where you were when your head coach, Nick Saban, retired,” Trump said, via AL.com. “Remember that? He’s done such a fantastic job. That’s true with Nick. What a great coach. Let’s bring him back.”
Those remarks from Trump could’ve stirred up quite the controversy for Alabama’s football program, but he quickly pivoted to complimenting Kalen DeBoer.
“No. You have a good coach right now, though. You have a good coach right now.”
DeBoer went 9-4 in his first season as the head coach of the Crimson Tide. Obviously, there was a lot of pressure on him to replace Saban.
