Unbelievable Moment Crowned ESPN’s Greatest College Football Play Since 2000—You Won’t Believe Which One Made No. 1!
On Tuesday, ESPN shared its top-25 college football plays since 2000. Ten writers and editors nominated 51 plays, and they formed a consensus on individual writer rankings.
Auburn fans will certainly approve of ESPN’s top choice.
The No. 1 spot went to the famous “Kick Six.” On Nov. 30, 2013, Auburn pulled off an improbable Iron Bowl win over Alabama when Chris Davis caught a Crimson Tide field-goal try that missed short of the final play and returned it for a 109-yard touchdown.
Alabama’s first loss of the season thwarted the SEC squad’s chances of pursuing a three-peat. On the other hand, Auburn played for the national title.
