Unbelievable Stats Uncover Just How Unstoppable Will Campbell Was Against the Dolphins!

So, here we are, caught in the crossfire of the Patriots’ bold move to snatch Will Campbell early in the 2025 NFL Draft—a pick that had every analyst and fan pundit raising eyebrows and asking, “Wait, is this guy really an offensive tackle material?” Campbell, fresh out of LSU, didn’t exactly fit the prototypical mold, and skeptics whispered he might actually shine better as a guard. Yet, after a rocky rookie debut that made a few doubters smirk, Campbell flipped the script in a thrilling fashion, anchoring the line and paving the way for New England’s first win of the season. His performance against Miami—marked by near-perfect pass protection and just a single pressure allowed—is a testament to resilience and refined technique. But is this just a promising spark or the dawn of a Patriots’ blindside revolution? Stick around; the saga of a young team clawing back from the remnants of a bygone era is just getting juicier.

The New England Patriots‘ decision to take Will Campbell so high in the 2025 NFL Draft was a constant subject of debate.

The LSU product didn’t have the ideal measurements of an offensive tackle, and some argued that he was better suited to play guard instead.

However, after a dismal debut that raised concerns about this selection, he bounced back in a big way to help his team secure its first win of the season.

As shown by Carlos A. Lopez on X, the rookie tackle didn’t give up any hurries, QB hits, or sacks in 33 pass protection snaps.

He only gave up one pressure.

Granted, the Miami Dolphins aren’t the best team to measure whether a player did his best or not, but it was still encouraging after a subpar first game in the league.

What Campbell lacks in size, he makes up for with an elite technique.

He’s also much stronger than people give him credit for.

Still, there will be some growing pains along the way.

The Patriots are a young team, and things won’t always go their way.

This team had a massive shortage of talent from the latter days of the Bill Belichick era, and it will take a lot of time to fix the mess they got themselves into with that roster.

Landing the blindside protector of the future was clearly a big step in the right direction.

The jury is still out on Campbell, but so far, he’s shown the best and the worst of his game in two starts.
