49ers kicker Jake Moody kicked the longest field goal in Super Bowl history to open the scoring against the Chiefs.
His record didn’t last long.
Butker got the Chiefs on the scoreboard against the Niners in Super Bowl LVIII by drilling a 57-yard field goal with 20 seconds left in the first half. It was one of his four field goals in the game, including one with three seconds left to force overtime before the Chiefs went on to a 25-22 victory.
