With the help of the Opta supercomputer, we’re revealing win probabilities for each game throughout the 2025 NFL season.
The Opta supercomputer is with us every step of the way this season, providing us with data-backed predictions for all NFL games and season outcomes.
The Kansas City Chiefs are back as one of the favorites in the AFC, as Patrick Mahomes and company chase their fourth Super Bowl victory in seven seasons. But the supercomputer gives the Buffalo Bills and Baltimore Ravens the conference’s highest probabilities of winning it all.
The Jacksonville Jaguars, Los Angeles Chargers, Denver Broncos, Houston Texans, Cincinnati Bengals and Pittsburgh Steelers are the other contenders for at least an AFC wild-card spot, per our projection model.
Highest Probability of Winning the AFC Title

There’s a huge battle for NFC supremacy with the defending champion Philadelphia Eagles, Green Bay Packers, Washington Commanders, San Francisco 49ers, Tampa Bay Buccaneers, Los Angeles Rams and Detroit Lions having the best Super Bowl chances.
Highest Probability of Winning the NFC Title

For all the matchups, we’ve taken plenty of data, pumped it through our supercomputer and received our win probabilities. It’s important to note that they’re not picks against the spread.
So no matter if it’s a headliner or a game with nothing on the line, the model unsentimentally beeps its way through its NFL picks, boldly dropping predictions for each.
Keep in mind that these percentages move throughout the week as things happen, particularly after injuries are sorted out (the following win probabilities were as of Wednesday).
You can always find the win percentages – pregame or live – on the schedule page within our NFL hub.
Thursday Night Football Prediction
at Green Bay Packers 61.7%, Washington Commanders 38.3%
The Packers have won six straight home meetings against the Commanders, their second-longest active home win streak versus any single opponent (Seahawks – seven). Green Bay has held Washington to 20 or fewer points in all six contests, winning by an average of 16.3 points per game.

Sunday Predictions
at Dallas Cowboys 70.5%, New York Giants 29.5%
The Cowboys own an eight-game winning streak against the Giants. It is the longest active win streak by any NFL team against a divisional opponent and tied for the longest in any matchup (Chiefs eight straight vs. Commanders).
San Francisco 49ers 58.1%, at New Orleans Saints 41.9%
Jake Tonges caught the winning touchdown for the 49ers with 1:34 remaining after he entered the game with no career catches since entering the NFL in 2022. The last non-first year player to catch a game-winning TD with less than two minutes remaining in a contest that they entered with no career catches was Jumbo Elliot (Week 8, 2000).
Los Angeles Rams 63.5%, at Tennessee Titans 36.5%
Puka Nacua had 10 catches for 130 yards on Sunday, putting him at a career total of 194 receptions through 29 NFL games. The fewest games any player in NFL history has needed to reach 200 career receptions is 30 by Odell Beckham Jr.
at Baltimore Ravens 82.4%, Cleveland Browns 17.6%
The Browns are 4-3 against the Ravens in their last seven matchups, but the Ravens won the most recent matchup in Week 18 last season. This is the second time the Browns have had a winning record over a seven-game span against the Ravens (the other was 2001-04). The Browns have never won five in an eight-game stretch against the Ravens.
at Cincinnati Bengals 61.8%, Jacksonville Jaguars 38.2%
Joe Burrow had 113 passing yards against the Browns on Sunday, the third-lowest total in any game of his NFL career. Burrow averages 191.8 passing yards per game in Week 1 and 280.7 passing yards per game in all other regular-season games.
at Detroit Lions 70.7%, Chicago Bears 29.3%
Detroit won five of the six meetings while current Bears coach Ben Johnson was the Lions’ offensive coordinator from 2022-24. Detroit had 955 rushing yards in those matchups, the most the team has had in any six-game span versus Chicago since 1971-73 (976).
at Miami Dolphins 54.2%, New England Patriots 45.8%
Miami is looking to win its fifth straight game against New England for the first time since a five-game streak from 1999-2001. The Dolphins have won eight of the last nine meetings – the Patriots’ lone win coming by two points in Week 17 of the 2022 season.
Buffalo Bills 65.6%, at New York Jets 34.4%
The Bills are an NFL-best 24-6 against divisional opponents since 2020. The Bills’ streak of five straight seasons with a winning record in divisional play is one shy of their longest streak in franchise history (1988-93). It is tied for the second-longest active streak in the NFL (tied with the Buccaneers, behind the Chiefs, 10).
at Pittsburgh Steelers 60.9%, Seattle Seahawks 39.1%
Aaron Rodgers threw for four touchdowns in his Steelers debut after also doing so in his final game with the Jets last season. He’s the first player in NFL history to have consecutive games with at least four TD passes while playing for different teams.
at Arizona Cardinals 70.4%, Carolina Panthers 29.6%
Marvin Harrison Jr. is approaching 1,000 career receiving yards. With 44 receiving yards on Sunday, Harrison would reach the feat in his 19th career game and be tied for the sixth-fastest Cardinal to record 1,000 receiving yards.
Denver Broncos 52.1%, at Indianapolis Colts 47.9%
The Broncos and Colts met in Week 15 of last season, with Denver winning 31-13. The two teams combined for six turnovers in the second half of that contest, the most in the second half of a game since the Raiders and Eagles combined for seven in Week 16, 2017.
Philadelphia Eagles 51.7%, at Kansas City Chiefs 48.3%
Since the start of the 2022 season (when the Eagles and Chiefs eventually met in Super Bowl LVII), Philadelphia and Kansas City are tied for the best regular-season record in the NFL at 40-12.
Sunday Night Football Prediction
at Minnesota Vikings 61.0%, Atlanta Falcons 39.0%
Michael Penix Jr. and J.J. McCarthy will battle in the first Sunday Night Football on NBC matchup in which both quarterbacks have a career total of five starts or fewer. Carson Wentz and Dak Prescott are the only other starting QBs to have fewer than 10 starts and face off on SNF.
Monday Night Football Predictions
at Houston Texans 57.5%, Tampa Bay Buccaneers 42.5%
The Texans blitzed on 11 pass plays last week, allowing a 34.4% completion percentage on those plays. The only teams who blitzed more on pass plays in Week 1 were the Dolphins (18), Chiefs (15) and Colts (12).
Los Angeles Chargers 57.7%, at Las Vegas Raiders 42.3%
This will be the 10th meeting (incl. playoffs) between Jim Harbaugh and Pete Carroll as NFL head coaches with Carroll owning a 5-4 head-to-head record. Carroll’s teams have won each of the three latest matchups versus Harbaugh’s squads.
