UNC Eyes Surprising Transfer from Villanova: Could This Guard Be the Missing Piece?
Per Sam Kayser of League Ready, Lindsay has drawn interest not only from the Tar Heels but from more than a dozen other programs including Alabama, Baylor, Georgia, Kansas State, Kentucky, Louisville, Miami, Ohio State, Oklahoma State, Providence, St. John’s, Texas, Texas Tech, UCLA, USC, Utah, and Vanderbilt.
This season, he was a key piece in Villanova’s turnaround, averaging 12.3 points, 2.1 assists and 2.1 rebounds for the Wildcats.
Consistency, however, has been an issue for Lindsay. Despite several outings with 20 or more points, he shot just 38.3% from the field. He had 11 games with two or fewer made field goals and seven games in which he scored six points or fewer.
