With Peyton Manning on board in 2012, the Broncos finished 13-3 for their best record in seven seasons. Manning, who hadn’t played the year before due to injury, threw for 4,659 yards with 37 touchdowns and 11 picks to earn AP Comeback Player of the Year honors. Denver was knocked off by the Baltimore Ravens 38-35 in the AFC divisional round but reached the Super Bowl in two of the next three years.
