Uncover the Surprising Transfer Portal Gems Poised to Transform Villanova’s Season!
We’ve reached the point of the year where it’s time to turn the page to the transfer portal.
Unfortunately, this time has come a bit too early, but the arrow is pointing up for Kevin Willard and the Wildcats. To reach that next level in today’s era of college basketball, Willard and his staff must hit the transfer portal hard to find the best possible fits.

It is unknown what holes Villanova will have next season outside of Duke Brennan and Devin Askew, who were both portal additions last year.
Right now, many players are beginning to announce their intentions to transfer and these three players could fit right in for Villanova.
DeSean Goode, Robert Morris
Goode is going to be a hot commodity in the transfer portal this offseason. The 6-foot-8 sophomore scored 15.2 points per game for Robert Morris this season and did it in an extremely efficient way. Goode shot 62.9% from the field and 57.1% from three-point range. He knocked down 36 of 53 shots from deep during the season. That already fits into what Villanova likes to do. Goode would bring more size and ability to stretch the floor on the offensive end.
