Uncover the Surprising Transfer Portal Gems Poised to Transform Villanova’s Season!
Ethan Roberts, Penn
Villanova has a Penn connection with Tyler Perkins coming over two years ago. Could Roberts be next? The 6-foot-5 forward will be looking for a new home in his fourth year. This season, Roberts scored 16.9 points per game. He shot 40.4% from deep. Last year, Roberts scored 16.8 points per game. He has proved to be a legitimate scorer during his career from all three levels. What should not go unnoticed is Roberts is an 81.9% free throw shooter in his career. That is an area where the Wildcats need to improve drastically.
George Natsvlishvili, North Dakota
Duke Brennan is gone. Villanova will need to find a new big man to step in. Natsvlishvili took on a bigger role at North Dakota this season. He appeared in 34 games, making 14 starts, and played 19.2 minutes. Natsvlishvili averaged 8.0 points and 4.9 rebounds per game in year two. Natsvlishvili is listed as a power forward. The Wildcats could be looking for more of a true center, but at the end of the day, a 6-foot-10 forward would not hurt the rotation.
