Unexpected Twist: Jalan Wingfield Seeks Release from Georgia Tech, Shocking Auburn Fans
Georgia Tech announced its decision to fire head coach Damon Stoudamire earlier this month, which could result in a former Auburn target returning to the market.
Four-star forward Jalan Wingfield visited Auburn several times during his recruitment and even placed the Tigers in his top eight. However, he ultimately chose his hometown Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets. Now that the head coach he signed with is no longer there, he has requested a release from his National Letter of Intent and could soon be back on the recruiting trail.
