Pierce is a really good player that will be worth starting down the line but has a tough matchup this week.
The Colts’ dynamic receiver relies on stacking a lot of yards to be relevant in fantasy football, as he has just one touchdown on the season. And stacking yards against the Texans is tough. Houston’s elite defense allows the second-fewest yards per pass attempt in the NFL.
You can at least talk yourself into Michael Pittman Jr. scoring a touchdown. It’s tougher to see a path to production for Pierce. If you have any appealing reserve options, leave Pierce on the bench this week.
