Unlock Hidden Gems: Must-Make Fantasy Football Moves for Every NFL Team Heading into Week 13

Week 13 Waiver Wire Moves

  • Add John Metchie III: Metchie III has been on the Jets roster for just three games, but he already has two touchdowns. He was targeted seven times in Week 13, catching six of them for 65 yards and a score. He played the most snaps, ran the most routes and was joined by Adonai Mitchell at the top of the targets column. Garrett Wilson is on IR for at least another couple weeks, and Metchie is attracting a lot of attention from Tyrod Taylor.
  • Add Chris Rodriguez Jr.: Rodriguez is the name that should be near the top of every fantasy manager’s waiver wire wish list heading into Week 13. He is only rostered in 12% of leagues, so there should be a dash for him on the wire. Jacory Croskey-Merritt just hasn’t been cutting it as the lead back, and the seventh-round rookie was given nine carries to 15 for Rodriguez in Week 11 in Madrid. Rodriguez has been on a tear with 4.8 yards per carry compared to Croskey-Merritt’s 3.0 yards per rush over the last three weeks.
  • Add Khalil Shakir: Shakir was the only part of the Bills passing game that looked good on Thursday night against the Texans, and he could be in line for a big role again in Week 13. The Steelers have allowed the third-most yards after the catch in the NFL, and Shakir can be dynamite after the catch when the Bills get him involved. He has at least seven catches in three of his last four games and could have another big game this week.
  • Add Andrei Iosivas: Tee Higgins left Week 12 due to concussion-like symptoms and has already been ruled out for Week 13. Iosivas should be the No. 2 receiver for the Bengals behind the returning Ja’Marr Chase, and he could have Joe Burrow throwing him the ball. He led the Bengals in targets in Week 12 with seven and is a solid short-term add for anyone needing receiver help next week.
  • Baker Mayfield: Sprained his left shoulder and missed the second half against the Rams. An MRI revealed he had a low-grade sprain, so it’s at least possible that he plays in Week 13.
  • Alvin Kamara: Sprained his MCL and seems likely to miss multiple weeks. Devin Neal takes over as the lead back in New Orleans.
  • Ashton Jeanty: Appeared to roll his ankle late in the fourth quarter in a loss to the Browns and didn’t return. It’s unclear if he just stayed out because there were only a few minutes left or if his ankle injury could put him at risk of missing Week 13. Monitor his practices this week to see if he’s a full go.
  • Tee Higgins: Left the game with a potential concussion in Week 12. He has already been ruled out for Week 13.
